About

This 12-month occupational program (SAQA ID: 99714) provides the comprehensive training required for a career as a Health and Safety Practitioner. Registered at NQF Level 5 with 256 credits, the course covers the theoretical foundations, practical skills, and real-world work experience needed to manage workplace safety. Participants will study the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA), hazard identification, risk assessment (HIRA), and incident investigation. By the end of the program, learners will be competent in implementing safety management systems, conducting inspections, and promoting a robust safety culture within an organization as per legal requirements.
