Short Learning Programs

Short Learning Programmes (SLPs) are structured, skills-focused training courses designed to be completed over a short period, typically ranging from one day to a few weeks. These programmes aim to provide learners with specific knowledge, practical skills, and competencies required for workplace application, professional development, or compliance with industry standards.

Short Learning Programmes are often aligned to unit standards or specific industry needs, making them flexible, accessible, and directly relevant to improving job performance.

QCTO Occupational Certificates / Programmes / Qualifications

QCTO Occupational Qualifications are nationally recognised qualifications developed by the Quality Council for Trades and Occupations (QCTO) in South Africa. These programmes are designed to prepare learners with the practical knowledge, workplace experience, and applied skills required to perform specific occupations in the workplace.

Unlike traditional academic qualifications, QCTO programmes combine theory, practical training, and workplace experience, ensuring that graduates are fully competent and job-ready. These qualifications are aligned with industry needs and are registered on the National Qualifications Framework (NQF), making them recognised by employers across South Africa.

At Funda Institute, QCTO Occupational Programmes provide learners with career-focused training that leads directly to professional opportunities in various industries.

All Occupational Health and Safety programmes offered by Funda Institute are verified and/or endorsed by the South African Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (Saiosh), a recognised professional body appointed by the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA) for Occupational Health and Safety professional designations.
